- information collected through our "connected" vehicle (if the rented vehicle is a connected vehicle, i.e. equipped with GPS and remote assistance technology): vehicle status, information on damage or accidents, vehicle performance data, operational data and diagnostics, mileage information, acceleration and braking speeds, fuel consumption and fuel levels, tire pressure, odometer readings, vehicle location and other vehicle information. 

We collect most of your personal data directly from you, but we may also receive data from third parties, including the relevant authorities responsible for managing fines for traffic violations.

 

3. For what purposes do we process your personal data?

We collect and process your personal data for various purposes and on the following legal bases:

- The creation and management of your customer account

The management of your booking and rental contract, in particular for:

- Confirmation, modification or cancellation of the reservation;

- To communicate with you about your reservation and rental (for example, to provide you with information about your reservation and rental, to send you reminders before returning your vehicle, to respond to your questions or suggestions);

- manage your rental;

- manage payment and tax documentation;

- manage the collection of sums due (including subsequent expenses such as fines for infringements of the highway code, or compensation for damage to the vehicle);

- claims management;

- purchase and manage insurance for your vehicle.

- Management of commercial documents such as customer invoices.

- Verification of your driving license.

This validation can be performed manually by our customer service 

- Fight against credit/payment card fraud.

- Chat in real time on our website.

- Management of sanctions for infringements of the Highway Code (with communication to the competent authority of the identity of the main driver reported in the rental contract).

4. how do we store your data?

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our  services. Your data may be stored via Wix.com's data storage, databases, and general applications. Your data is stored by them on secure servers, protected by firewalls. All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards established by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its vendors.
